CONNECT Training Center
Begun in 2015 to provide a location for appointment-scheduled lessons and instruction, a long list of primarily softball instructors work out of the 6,000 square foot facility, which is based in a building alongside Highway 153 that’s about 10 miles east of downtown Chattanooga. Although a softball-first facility, baseball instruction is also offered in the training center that has four batting cages and three pitching lanes.
Batters Box Baseball
Opened in 2009, the climate-controlled 18,000 square foot indoor facility has four retractable batting cages, two of which are paired with an Iron Mike pitching machine, in an 80′ x 90′ turf room, while an outdoor baseball field with a MLB-sized turfed infield is behind the building. Based out of a suburb east of Memphis and close to I-269 (TN 385), the facility specializes in giving lessons and operating travel teams spanning the 7-18U levels.
Nashville Baseball Academy
With a goal of helping baseball and softball players get better, this 10,000 square foot facility, which opened in 2004 and expanded in 2013, has batting cages, pitching mounds, a 35′ x 145′ turfed utility field, and staff of instructors to give private baseball lessons at the Academy, which is about five miles north of Brentwood.
