East Coast Baseball Academy
Established in 2011 by a former hitting coach at The Citadel, this West Ashley-located indoor facility specializes in year-round baseball and softball instruction through a variety of means, including private lessons, camps and skill-specific training programs. Four fully turfed batting cages equipped with pitching machines are open to the public, while other hitting stations and a pitching area are found within the air-conditioned facility, from which various age-level travel baseball teams are operated.
Four batting cage lanes are found inside of this 5,500 square foot facility, which opened in 2016 and is outfitted with today’s must-have technology systems (HitTrax and Rapsodo). Mounds (baseball) and mats (softball) are available for pitching practice, and pitching machines can be used for batting practice in the retractable netted cages, which are 60′ or 75′ in length.
Landon Powell Hit House
Begun in 2014 by former major league catcher Landon Powell, this indoor baseball facility near the Greenville Little League complex at Conestee Park has rentable batting cages and other equipment, like portable mounds, for practice usage, but the emphasis here is on player development via lessons, clinics and camps that are led by very experienced instructors.

This small indoor baseball facility has 3,000 square feet of turf-covered training space and boasts of three batting tunnels that include automated pitching machines. If needed, complimentary bats and helmets are available for use in the cages. Hitting tees and portable pitching mounds are among the additional training aids found at the facility, which offers private hitting and pitching lessons (former major league pitcher Steve Ratzer serves as the lead instructor).
