Associated with Marucci Sports (their bats are available to demo), the locally-based brand’s first-ever indoor baseball and softball hitting facility opened in 2015 and half of its cages are open 24 hours a day to those with a monthly membership. In all, there are 10 batting cages and rounds can be purchased at a reasonable rate to hit in the five cages that are open to the general public (the five others are the 24/7 members-only cages). While batting practice and equipment sold at the on-site Marucci Store are the drivers of business here, members also have access to two bullpen areas with mounds for pitching workouts.

Although a multi-sports complex, baseball is the specialty at this large New Orleans-area facility, which opened in its current 71,000-square-foot location in 2012. Among the baseball offerings are numerous batting cages (machine and live pitch), an indoor and outdoor turfed field, leagues for very young children (ages 2-5) and travel teams for youth players. Baseball instructors are also employed here to give group classes and private lessons.

Seasonally open outside-based batting cages are found in this enormous recreation park that has facilities for lots of sports. The park itself is located near the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain and its batting cage facility has nine stations, which are token-operated and throw various preset speeds of baseballs or softballs (yellow dimpled balls are actually used). There is an age limit — hitters must be at least 9-years old to use the cages, which are divided up into three baseball only, two softball only, and four baseball or softball lanes. Both slow and fast pitch hitting is available via the softball machines.
